Zakopane is a famous ski resort in Poland, proud of its own folklore. The drive from Krakow takes just over 2 hours. It's not much, but the change is colossal - the views and attractions are worth the time.
To feel the atmosphere of the town, you will spend some time on Krupówki - the main street of the resort and the local market. We also recommend trying regional dishes in one of the many highlander restaurants.
You will see the panorama of Zakopane and the surrounding mountains perfectly when you go to the top of Gubałówka in a modern cable car. You have to see these amazing views from the top, especially beautiful in the sun.
We will also not forget about the cheeses produced in this area, the most famous of which is called "oscypek". We will learn about the process of its production and taste a little.
There is no better way to relax after an eventful day than a swim in a pool with refreshing thermal water. At the end, you will reach the thermal pools, where you will be able to relax and feel the health properties of thermal water.
